I made this blog just to write some stuff that I feel like writing.. You know, some times you just want to talk to someone about something, but that someone isn't there? Now I got my blog to talk to, feels nice.
My best friend is still in Australia, which might be why that someone isn't here for me right now.
After I wrote "About dreads." I got a bit of a bad concience... There's all these people writing about the wars going on in the world, about injustice, about the poor and the people without food for the day, and I write about how annoyed I am with people asking the same questions about my dreads.
Shouldn't I write about that poor danish homeless guy without teeth who sells the homeless' magazine by the shopping mall in the middle of Göteborg? Shouldn't I write about all the horrible stuff I read about Kenya?
But then I realised, no. What difference does it make? Who would care about what I wrote about a homeless guy, or a war? Would it make the world any better? Would that homeless guy, or the people in the war care about what I wrote?
No. I'm not in a position to make a difference, an 18-year old guy writing about that wouldn't change the world. It doesn't matter who writes.
Noone can change the world.

About Dreads.
I came up with a brilliant idea today. I'm going to make a small card that I can hand out to people that meet me for the first time. On it I'll write the answers to all questions that people ask me:
"1. I've had these dreads for about a year and a half.
2. Yes, I do wash my hair.
3. It took four hours and a quarter to make them. It was the worst physical pain I have ever experienced.
4. Yes, it is my hair.
5. I am not thinking about removing my dreads, and if I did, I would probably cut them off and shave my head, yes."
And on the other side of the card, I'll write:
"Hey, I have a life, you know!
There's alot of stuff to ask about me that's more interesting than my dreads!
For example, I'm fighting against my computer game addiction, I just quit playing computer/video games for life.
I'm a leader in an organisation where we make camps for kids, teenagers, and even older people.
I roleplay with my friends and when I'm at home I juggle alot.
I study to become a sea man, even though I just figured out I want to work with teenagers, in a school or after school."
Why do people keep asking these questions about dreads whenever they see me? Do I ask if you wash your clothes? Almost EVERY person I meet ask at least three out of the five questions I wrote answers for above, and it always ends with "When you want to get rid of them, will you have to shave your head?!" or "When will you get rid of them?"
When will you guys get rid of your hair? Will you have to shave it?
I noticed that the general opinion says that Everyone changes hair styles all the time, it's natural, but people with dreads don't change hair style, they get rid of their dreads!
Well, well, that card will save me from alot of stupid questions.
I dyed my hair yesterday, and when I entered the classroom this morning, I got the usual, expected laughter and comments. My class mates all look like dicks, or like they're already the executive of a big oil tanker company. Like they would ever go that far.
Ass licking wont get you through your whole life.
